Rocca Piemonte Appassimento D.O.C
This wine is mainly produced by Dolcetto and Barbera grapes as well as a little Merlot grapes. All grapes are cultivated in the Piedmont area of northern Italy. It is a very elegant wine with intense red color, intense fragrance of ripe fruit and fine spices, full-bodied, yet soft, round and warm fruit flavor, and a long and pleasant aftertaste with notes of black cherries. Incredibly intense and powerful.
For over 60 years, KWV Roodeberg has been South Africa’s biggest name. The legendary red wine comes from the cellars at Cape Town’s most famous wine center. Grapes from the selected areas of Western Cape (Western Cape) are sorted by type of wine during fermentation and mature 14-16 months on French oak barrels before uniting this cuvée. For wine-lovers throughout the world, it is the perfect harmonic flavor and the noble character of this graciously grape as the epitome of wine of the highest class. In John Platter’s South African Wine Guide, KWV Roodeberg is referred to as nothing less than an institution within the Cape Winery.
